Some sources indicate that Ci is not defined for arg(z) = pi. May be because it is a multivalued function. Indeed, Ci(-1 + 0.0000001i) and Ci(-1 - 0.0000001i) have very similar real parts but their imaginary parts differ by almost 2*pi
