- I just keep getting an "n error" message which tells me nothing. And when I chance my initial condition (to one I don't need) the error goes away.

My f(x) = atan(x)

f'(x) = 1/((x^2)+1)

f''(x) = (-2*x)/ (((x^2)+1)^2)

and x_0 = 1.5.

The calculator just will not do it.
