Regular polygons inscribed to a circle Calculator
Calculates the side length and area of the regular polygon inscribed to a circle. | ||
- Purpose of use
- Building a support to go underneath a water heater. Want to make a triangular shape that fits inside the diameter of the base of the tank. This was just what I needed.

- Purpose of use
- to determine the number of sides required to have a surface area of 3 within the circle of 3.14.
- Comment/Request
- wonderful tool. wanted to know about whole integer surface area shapes within a circle with radius 1. 4 sided and 12 sided polygons yield 2 and 3 respectively.

- Purpose of use
- I used to be a physicist/civil engineer. I bought a house with a huge yard that is mainly grass with a depressed circular area of 14 ft. radius behind the deck where an above ground pool once sat. I want to kill the grass in this ~ 616 sq. ft. area and plant dwarf fruit trees/shrubs with a ring of short perennials on the outside of the circle so it is delineated from the rest of the yard. Planting at the vertices of a polygon inscribed inside a circle is the best use of this area.

- Comment/Request
- Could use a visual representation of actual values applied to shapes
