Uniform accelerated motion (time required) Calculator
Calculates the time required and travel distance from the acceleration and velocity. | ||
- Purpose of use
- Double-checking my own script to extract velocity and displacement from sampled acceleration data.

- Purpose of use
- Calculating distance needed to accelerate object for ballistic trajectory at given velocity without exposing it to fatal g-forces
- Comment/Request
- Easy to use, gives me exactly what I need
[2] 2019/09/23 23:42 Male / 30 years old level / An engineer / Very /
- Purpose of use
- Calculating how long it would theoretically take to accelerate a 50g hamster to half the speed of light, without exposing it to deadly g-force.

- Purpose of use
- calculating Launch loop Data to find distance need to reach escape velocity

- Purpose of use
- Deceleration of sled on ice

- Purpose of use
- water supply project
- Comment/Request
- very useful
[6] 2018/08/27 17:06 Female / 30 years old level / An engineer / Very /
- Purpose of use
- Pilot calculating practicality of a theoretical transport system between two US cities. Knowing 30fps as a limit for passenger comfort, long much distance is required to reach to desired operating speed of a transport vehicle.
[7] 2017/11/12 18:08 Male / 30 years old level / Others / Very /
- Purpose of use
- As a science fiction writer, I found this calculator very useful in calculating the approximate required length for a planet-bound mass driver to accelerate a space vessel to a certain fraction of escape velocity. Also like that the output is in both scientific and decimal notation.

- Purpose of use
- Determine the rate of acceleration of my compact vehicle based upon the distance required to go from 0 to 100 km/h. Good for basic calculation however due to the gearing of my vehicle and the torque my guess is the acceleration is faster in the 0-60 km/h range than from the 60-100 km/h range
[9] 2017/08/11 03:25 Male / 40 years old level / Others / Useful /
- Purpose of use
- Determine apx difference in distance traveled from 0-60MPH for cars with different power ratings (assumption that cars have constant acceleration rather than gears).
