Tracking (very approximate) calorie intake and expenditure to make my diet more legible and exert more top-down control. Only about a month in, but it's been a big success so far.
Comment/Request
Type of bicycle seems like an important parameter. I would appreciate seeing a range of values depending on bicycle type, to give me a better idea of the range of calorie expenditure this would correspond to. As it is, I worry that the calculator could give values that are significantly too high if I'm using a fast road bike, or significantly too low if I'm using a fat-tired mountain bike.

Purpose of use
After many years of a sedentary lifestyle I am rediscovering the joy of movement on an exercise bike which is the most sensible choice given our current pandemic and it is winter. I very much look forward to the time spent on the bike(30 -60 minutes a day) and it is encouraging to have this somewhat specific information. I am enjoying the process and feel good about it
