Purpose of use
I want to make an approximation of an empirical distribution of landownership, data from 1930's China. Have been working on theory of peasant economy for years. Read that Pareto distribution is used for matching wealth distribution. But for the life of me, I cannot figure out what the axes of these charts mean, or how I can use them for my simple problem.
Comment/Request
Please provide simple English explanation of the axes of the charts, and if possible provide a few concrete examples. I looked up a lot of stuff online, but it is not accessible to the non-mathematician.
