# Tsunami Speed

## Calculates the speed of Tsunami waves triggered by underwater earthquake and etc.

depth of water mft [acceleration of gravitym/sec2] Tsunami speed m/sec = km/h = fps = mph
Due to the 1960 Chile earthquake, the tsunami arrived in Japan about 22 hours after.
The average speed of the tsunami was about 750km across the Pacific Ocean.

I am a child and I found out about the Status-6 Oceanic Multipurpose StatusSystem and researched that they have 15 in the Arctic ocean which since one could possibly create a 300 ft tsunami the 15 would make a 4.5 km high tsunami which i was wondering how far a 4,500 feet high tsunami can go to see who Russia will use them on or to see if they move them and detonate it and it covers a whole land

When giving equations a legend should explain all terms used.

In your formula you consider the depth of the water (27 yards or 81 feet deep). However the width was 12 miles by of which one would think the depth plus the 6 miles Pharoah's chariots would have incresed in speed traveling the six miles of which the chariots would have been at least 10 feet off center, thus they would have been hit by the water traveling six miles at a depth of 81 feet. Pharoah's and Pharoah's chariotmens death
Here's a question I tried to ask Yahoo answers but for some reason when I pressed submit nothing happened, so
my next audience to ask is the Dake Bible Discussion Board, hoping some have college math studuents that
can answer my question.
Illustrate the force Pharoah and his 600 chariots, would have been impacted with the force of water roughly 9 stories high rushing from six miles away.
In Exodus Pharoah and his 600 chariots had water 81 inches high (converted from Adam Clarke's yards) and off center of the 12 mile width.
A Roman league was 3 miles wide and the Red Sea accordingly was 4 leagues wide which equates to 12 miles. Thus no doubt Pharoah and
his chariots were not dead center so they would have been hit by a wall of water 81 feet high and having moved six miles before impact.
I just wonder scientificallly, what such a force striking men and 600 horses would have been like? It must have been so much more than
a tsunami. Love to see the computations.
Thanks for reading.
